The name Nothing Special isn't saying something about the people, places, or things that I write about.

It's not me saying that the things I cover aren't worth your time. It's just my way of saying that I'm not pretending to be an expert, a critic, or someone with all the answers. I'm just someone who wants to document my thoughts, experiences and ideas.

This blog is a place for the things that catch my attention - live music, photography, technology, gaming and anything else that feels worth talking about.

Sometimes that might mean being stood in front of a stage with a camera in hand. Sometimes it might be behind the scenes at an event. Sometimes it might be getting lost in a new game, idea, or trying out some new tech.

Just some ordinary thoughts from an ordinary perspective.
